Why Morality Matters

Morals are so damn important because even with scientific knowledge, we don't always follow along with it. If we find something to be intuitively wrong, we are less likely to give into it compared to simply being educated on the scientific harms of it. It has already been proven by professional research that humans base their decisions on emotions more-so than logic.
Even if kids learn about the harmful effects of drugs including porn at school, that alone isn't enough. Many kids are still doing drugs. Many people are still smoking despite countless of awareness on the harms of smoking. Behind every decision-making in life consists of moral-thinking. In the end, our moral compasses and the strength of them will determine what actions we will take.
Science and education are knowledge. Wisdom and morality are the application of that knowledge.
We have plenty of science but not plenty of morals. Same goes for this... We hear so much about sexuality yet not enough morality.
...and this is a reason why I'm a moralist, specifically an absolute moralist. Why absolute morality though? Because you can't expect a house to last long upon a shakeable foundation. —Empress Cynthelestia
