"The [world] is in the early to middle stages of a potentially widespread [PORN] epidemic. If the line is held now, we can prevent new users and increasing casualties. So this is exactly not the time to be considering a liberalization of our laws on [pornography]. We need a firm stand by society against [porn] use to extend and reinforce the messages that are being learned through painful personal experience and testimony."
Switched out "cocaine" with "porn"...which more often than not involve the rape, abuse, objectification, commodification and exploitation of human bodies, particularly women and children, not tangible non-human objects. When we commodify women and children, we are taking away their human rights and their rights to safety...we are allowing men to think it's okay to abuse and commit violence towards them.
PREVENTION IS KEY before the addiction or downfall happens.

This is the type of mindset and behaviour that develops when we decriminalize porn, prostitution, and other vices or forms of slavery...it is appalling, and in no way would that improve humanity nor protect our women and children. Where decriminalization of porn and prostitution exists, male violence against girls and women remain high even though it's often not spoken of or easily gets swept underneath the rug. Prostitutes get drugged up, physically beaten, raped, and killed everyday when they are just trying to make money to survive, to support their family, or without having to rely on their family or parents in terms of finances. Many of them have committed suicide but of course there's hardly any news on this because most men don't view prostitutes or women as human beings but more-so as sex objects or house slaves...and commodification of female human bodies continually promote that kind of MENtality. The solution to ending pornography and its damaging impacts is EDUCATION to ensure everyone understands the dangers of porn & to avoid demanding for more of that supply, REHABILITATION for porn addicts to quit the poor habit, and PROHIBITION to prevent anymore kids from being exposed to porn—to prevent anymore new users or future addicts. —Empress Cynthelestia
